Individual Support Services:
Social and recreational supports in community settings are a core element of Capitol Care's services for people with developmental disabilities. Our staff work one-on-one or with small groups to take people into their community to learn social skills, develop employment skills, engage in cultural activities, and increase overall community integration. Individuals, families, friends, and other professionals are involved in developing goals and plans to sculpt unique and exciting supports for each person.
Group recreation activities are available to anyone, and are scheduled throughout each month to provide enjoyable experiences and improve community inclusion. Capitol Care staff plan activities, provide transportation, and ensure the safety and enjoyment of all in attendance.
